Spotlight Family
The Lane Family is an incredible "Above Average" family who
extended their already large biological family with adopted children and
open their home to serve children in need. We salute the Lane Family!
We are parents to 16 children, 5 bio and 11 adopted,
some with special. My husband was raised in foster homes from the age of 3
until he was 15. I was placed into an adopted home at age 9 months, and
legally adopted at age 13. This was an open adoption in the mid 40's.
We've been married 34 years on October 2nd.
Our birth children range in age from 27 to 34. The oldest 4 have given us
13 grandchildren. We have adopted 11 children, some with special needs,
and they range in age from 4 to 18. We also host children from other
counties for medical treatment. At this time we have 2 little girls here
for medical attention. We have 13 in school this year. We own a 54-acre
farm. Where we have a 3-acre garden, pigs, and chickens.
