- BACK TO THE GOOD OLD DAYS
Activities might include making bread and churning butter, quilting, an old fashioned
baseball game, fishing or whittling.
- BEACH PARTY
Activities might include volleyball, hula hoop, sand castle building contest, swimsuit
fashion show, limbo contest etc.
- BOOT CAMP
Put families into platoons. You can make dog tags for name tags. Activities might include
an obstacle course. Wake up to an early morning bugler and a flag ceremony.
- CARNIVAL THEME
Set up booths with different carnival games such as a fishing pond, ring toss, dunking
machine, clothes pin drop, bean bag toss, etc.
- COUNTY FAIR
Set up a quilt. Have a pie eating contest, gunny sack races, a cake walk, tug-O-war, bob
forapples. You might even want to have a homemade preserves contest by having each family
member bring a jar of something they’ve bottled and have judges. You could go wild
with this idea.
- MOUNTAIN MAN RENDEZVOUS
You could set up a trading post. Activities might include string bead projects,
boondoggle, leather crafts, etc.
- OLYMPICS
You could have a variety of olympic events.
- WILD WEST ROUND-UP
Have a children’s rodeo. Serve a huge barbecue. Campfire stories would be great.
- KISSIN’ COUSINS REUNION
A reunion for cousins only.
- FEELING "COOPED UP" come to our HENS REUNION
Females only.
