Christmas
Ornament Scrapbook
Each year our children get new Christmas ornaments. They love their new
ornaments but with all 8 getting ornaments I am having a hard time keeping
track of who got what from whom and for what occasion. For the most part
they keep things straight but I decided that a good way to keep it
straight and to ensure that they got their own ornaments when they leave
home one day was the following.
Take a photograph of each ornament and using the half page format,
scrapbook the photos. Including who the ornament was from, any significant
information and the year the ornament was given on the page. Johanna
received a ballerina one year, because she’d danced in the Nutcracker,
the reason for the choice would be important to record. A photo of the
child with the ornament as a second photo would make it even more
historical and fun in the years to come. You’d want to use a full-page
format for that. An index would also help.
