| Out of the Mouths of Babes
I occasionally participate in library discussions in
the evenings and because my husband gets home late, I usually have to take
my 4-year-old son with me.
On this particular night, there was a bowl of apples there and the
chairperson told my son he could have one. He was wearing his favorite
hooded shirt that night and when he wears it, he prefers to have the hood
on.
A lady approached him and was entertaining him, when he held up his red
apple and said to her: "Do you know why I like red apples?"
pulling his hood down "because they make my hair red!"
